Who better to welcome the royals to America than David Beckham? The soccer star chats up Prince William at a July 8 poolside mixer, thrown by British Consul-General Barbara Hay. "Victoria really wanted to come but she is just so tired at the moment," Beckham told William of his wife, who gave birth two days later. "She sent you both lots of love." William's reply? "Don't be silly. Send her all our love and tell her good luck with it all."
