FIRST SOLO ENGAGEMENT
A few weeks later, the Duchess of Cambridge swiftly steps in for Prince Charles at a charity dinner for In Kind Direct at Clarence House on Oct. 26. "You would never know it was her first solo engagement. It was as if she had been trained by the Prince of Wales," the charity's chief executive Robin Boles told PEOPLE. "She was completely natural, professional and charmed everyone."
