Even the Twilight set chatters about Stewart and Pattinson "hooking up," a source tells PEOPLE before New Moon debuts in November 2009. But the budding couple plays coy. "It doesn't make any difference what you say [to tabloids]," Pattinson tells Vanity Fair in November. "I've literally been across the country [from Kristen], and it's like, 'Oh, they were on secret dates!' It's like, 'Where? I can't get out of my hotel room!' "
