Boy Bands: The Way They Were

Let's go back to a simpler time: when bandannas were bedazzled, tribal tattoos were hot, and boy bands ruled the world

LFO

Who? Devin Lima, Rich Cronin, Brad Fischetti
Known for: getting sick from Chinese food
Originally called the Lyte Funky Ones, LFO shot to fame in 1999 when a demo song, "Summer Girls," began getting radio play. The song included cheeky pop culture references to New Kids on the Block, New Edition, Beastie Boys, Macaulay Culkin and most famously, girls who wear Abercrombie & Fitch. The song paved the way for a follow-up hit, "Girl on TV," inspired by Jennifer Love Hewitt, who went on to date late singer Cronin. Recently, they've resurfaced on the Internet, when it became known that Fischetti enjoys live-Tweeting his visits to abortion clinics.
