Caught in the Act: The Globes Parties!

Paris Hilton, arriving at the InStyle/Warner Bros. party at the Beverly Hilton with Vanessa Minnillo, who wore her third dress of the night. The trick to the quick change? "Have a side room available to change," she told us, "and one of your girlfriends to zip, tuck, poke, squeeze, and strap you into your dress." The party was such a hot ticket that stars including Hilary Swank, Sheryl Crow, Felicity Huffman, William H. Macy, Globe winner Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon had to wait outside before being let in. Inside, Seal and Heidi Klum took a breather on the couch and bobbed their heads in unison to AC/DC's "Back in Black" while Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Leonardo DiCaprio stood together and chatted over drinks.
Ginnifer Goodwin, gushing about boyfriend Chris Klein at the HBO Globes party at the Beverly Hilton. "Our dynamic is perfection," she told us. "It's absolute perfection." Mark Wahlberg, Toni Collette, Rachel Griffiths, Matthew Perry and Josh Holloway feasted on Alaskan halibut with a Moroccan crust, wild-mushroom ravioli and goat cheese with pickled beets. And Jeremy Piven said a reported chill in his relationship with longtime friend John Cusack "was blown out of proportion. It's a non-issue." Nominee Mark Wahlberg said his favorite part of the evening was "being with my girl and having her there. And seeing Marty (Scorsese) win."
Mary J. Blige, telling us at the Weinstein Company party at Trader Vic's at the Beverly Hilton that one of the highlights of her night was Jennifer Hudson winning. "It's time for an underdog who works so hard to win," she said. And Sienna Miller was feeling her English pride. "All of the British people winning so many awards. I felt very proud to be British," she told us. "It's always good to represent the U.K. Big up, Britain."
Penélope Cruz, celebrating at a party thrown in her honor by Los Angeles Confidential magazine at the W Westwood Hotel in Los Angeles. Also in attendance: Globe winners Alec Baldwin and Forest Whitaker along with John Stamos, Kevin Spacey and Ludacris.
Meryl Streep, arriving first with her daughter at the FOX bash at the Beverly Hilton. Both 24 star Jean Smart and Toni Collette introduced themselves to the Globes winner. Jason Lee broke into a Elvis Presley impersonation – complete with dance moves and pouty lips – when "Hunk of Burning Love" came on. And 24 star (and nominee) Kiefer Sutherland and his 24 pals were some of the last people hanging out. After all the catering had been cleared, he put in a special order for some more food.
