Sharon Stone and the Wayans brothers, sorry to break it to you: The stars led the pack of nominees for the year's "best of the worst" – a.k.a the Razzie Awards – announced Monday.

The actress's sultry sequel Basic Instinct 2 and the Wayans comedy Little Man earned seven nominations each, including worst picture.

In a surprise, given his history, Sylvester Stallone was happily absent from the list of nominees released Monday for the Razzie Awards, which pokes fun at the year's worst in movie entertainment.

Stallone, who has a record 30 Razzie nominations and 10 wins in his career, has earned plaudits for Rocky Balboa – surprising Razzies founder John Wilson.

"At the first of the year, you could not have convinced me it wasn't going to be a Razzie contender," Wilson said, according to the Associated Press. "I would like to publicly say that Stallone has made a good movie."

On the other, less fortunate end of the spectrum, Lindsay Lohan got a worst-actress nod for Just My Luck, and Hilary and Haylie Duff shared a worst-actress nomination for Material Girls.

"We stuck the siblings together to allow room for more dreck," Wilson said.

The Razzies added one new category this year: worst excuse for family entertainment. The nominees were Deck the Halls, Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties, RV, The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause and The Shaggy Dog.

The "winners" will be announced Feb. 24, the day before the Academy Awards.
