Now here's a gift that's in good taste. In honor of Eddie Murphy's Oscar nomination, good pals Holly Robinson-Peete and her husband, ex-footballer Rodney Peete, sent Murphy a batch of cookies iced with a picture of his Dreamgirls character Jimmy "Thunder" Early. The customized photo cookie bouquet by L.A'.s Cookies by Design bakery "was a great idea," says Robinson-Peete. "[Eddie] is a really great friend of ours and we want him to win." So far, the Best Supporting Actor nominee has resisted the temptation to eat them all, she says, but they're hoping that, come Oscar night, he and girlfriend Tracey Edmonds will be tasting the sweetness of victory.
