Tell-All Love
Three years after being attacked by ex Chris Brown, Rihanna reveals her steadfast devotion for the R&B singer during an emotional interview with Oprah Winfrey on Oprah's Next Chapter. "I truly love him," she said. "And the main thing for me is that he is at peace. I'm not at peace if he is unhappy or he is still lonely. I care. It actually matters that he finds peace."
Surprising Smooch
After taking home the Moonman for video of the year, Rihanna receives a congratulatory kiss from Brown on her way back to her seat at the MTV Video Music Awards. The pair's act of affection comes just weeks after the singer's emotional admission to Oprah, saying, "I truly love him."
No Apologies
To promote her seventh album, Unapologetic, the singer embarks on a seven day, seven country tour with 250 journalists and fans aboard a tricked-out Boeing 777, which eventually draws negative reviews from those on board due to unfit accommodations and little interaction with the singer. "I knew I had seven countries and seven shows and I had to save my voice," she tells BBC's Radio 1 in response to the criticism. Despite the controversy, Unapologetic tops the charts to become Rihanna's first No.1 debut.

Romantic Reunion
Following months of speculation, Rihanna confirms to Rolling Stone she and Brown have reconciled. "I decided it was more important for me to be happy and I wasn't going to let anybody's opinion get in the way of that," she says. "We value each other. We know exactly what we have now, and we don't want to lose that."
