Although she was raised in the small town of Hailey, Idaho, Rumer was never far from Hollywood. She took bit parts in her parents' films (mom's Striptease, dad's Hostage) and in 2007, landed her first onscreen roles not associated with her parents in the indie flick From Within and the comedy House Bunny with Katharine McPhee. As part of a famous tight-knit family – including step dad Ashton Kutcher – Rumer, who landed on PEOPLE's Most Beautiful list in 2008, enters the ranks of Hollywood's next generation of stars.

Rumer Willis: Five Fun Facts
- Rumer Glenn Willis is named after the British novelist Rumer Godden, and is said to have received her middle name from Bruce's close friend and Moonlighting executive producer Glenn Gordon Caron.
- Rumer Willis celebrated her sweet 16 with a Moulin Rouge-themed bash at future stepdad Ashton Kutcher's pad. Paris Hilton, David Spade and Christina Applegate were among her 200 guests.
- After reading the script for Bruce's movie Hostage, Rumer Willis suggested herself for the role of her dad's kidnapped daughter. "I told her, 'Honey, I'm not just gonna give you the part even though I'm a producer on the film," Bruce told the Chicago Sun-Times in 2005. Rumer eventually auditioned and won the role.
- Rumer Willis would love to record an album. "I have been singing since I was really little which not a lot of people know about so it's one of those fun, personal things," she told PEOPLE in 2007.

After nearly a year of marriage, Hollywood power couple Demi Moore and Bruce Willis welcome their first daughter Rumer Glenn Willis (pictured with Moore) in Kentucky, where Bruce is on location filming In Country. Moore and Willis have two more daughters: Scout LaRue (1991) and Tallulah Belle (1994).

All in the Family
"The rule in our family is [the kids] can act with their mom or with me until they're 18," Bruce tells PEOPLE. With that in mind, Rumer makes her big screen debut with a bit part in Moore's light-hearted drama Now and Then followed by her mom's 1996 exotic dancer drama Striptease (right). "She had a need and an interest to do this role," Moore tells the Chicago Sun-Times. "Of course, I would ask the director, 'How's she doing?' Naturally as her mother, I thought she was doing great."

Hailey, Idaho
Bruce and Moore move their brood to the small Idaho village of Hailey, where they reportedly invest $10 million in restorations. "When we're home, it's not like we walk around all dolled up going, 'We are celebrities! We are famous!'" Bruce tells PEOPLE. "I change diapers. I clean up dog doo." But they keep a foot in Hollywood, walking the red carpet for Moore's G.I. Jane, where Rumer and Scout (left) both sport similar cropped styles as their mom.
