Demi & Bruce's Rumer
After nearly a year of marriage, Hollywood power couple Demi Moore and Bruce Willis welcome their first daughter Rumer Glenn Willis (pictured with Moore) in Kentucky, where Bruce is on location filming In Country. Moore and Willis have two more daughters: Scout LaRue (1991) and Tallulah Belle (1994).

All in the Family
"The rule in our family is [the kids] can act with their mom or with me until they're 18," Bruce tells PEOPLE. With that in mind, Rumer makes her big screen debut with a bit part in Moore's light-hearted drama Now and Then followed by her mom's 1996 exotic dancer drama Striptease (right). "She had a need and an interest to do this role," Moore tells the Chicago Sun-Times. "Of course, I would ask the director, 'How's she doing?' Naturally as her mother, I thought she was doing great."

Hailey, Idaho
Bruce and Moore move their brood to the small Idaho village of Hailey, where they reportedly invest $10 million in restorations. "When we're home, it's not like we walk around all dolled up going, 'We are celebrities! We are famous!'" Bruce tells PEOPLE. "I change diapers. I clean up dog doo." But they keep a foot in Hollywood, walking the red carpet for Moore's G.I. Jane, where Rumer and Scout (left) both sport similar cropped styles as their mom.

Bruce & Demi Call it Quits
After nearly 11 years of marriage, Rumer's parents announce that they're divorcing. "We are a family, and we'll always be a family. In – just a different form," Moore tells Vogue in 2003. Bruce purchases a separate $1.1 million house in Hailey.

Hollywood Attraction
After 7 years of small-town life, Moore brings the family back into the limelight. She resurrects her film career with Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle and her love life with the 16-years-younger Ashton Kutcher. Bruce hits it off with Kutcher, who marries Moore in 2005. Rumer and her sisters affectionately call Kutcher "M.O.D." (My Other Dad).

Her Dream, His Nightmare
After persuading her dad to let her audition for his next action film Hostage, Rumer wins the role and plays Bruce's kidnapped daughter onscreen (right). Of the experience, Bruce tells the Chicago Sun-Times, "Having Rumer play my daughter just ramped up the emotions. It was my worst nightmare as a father being played out in a fictional way, but it also seemed very real to me."
Hollywood: The Next Generation
Rumer befriends paparazzi-stalked Lindsay Lohan after the two are introduced by Bruce, who produced Lohan's Just My Luck. Rumer finds herself defending her friend during Lohan's struggle with substance abuse. "I think sometimes people don't realize the amount of pressure that can come," she tells PEOPLE in 2007. That same year, Rumer is seen around town with Heroes star Hayden Panettiere (left), sporting a short, platinum do.

Cutting the Umbilical Cord
While working on the indie film From Within, Rumer witnesses a man's drug charge arrest but is not otherwise involved. The budding actress then begins her next project, the Adam Sandler-produced comedy House Bunny, with Anna Faris and Katharine McPhee (right). "I'm just really grateful for the opportunity...to show that I can go ahead with something that I care about," she tells The Insider.

Rumer's Beautiful Bunny Territory
After landing on PEOPLE's Most Beautiful list, Rumer hits the red carpet for the premiere of her comedy The House Bunny with her parents, siblings, stepfather and new boyfriend, actor Micah Alberti (left). [My family] has always just been very supportive," Rumer tells PEOPLE on the red carpet. "I'm very grateful." The film opens at No. 2, making $14.5 million in its first weekend.

Miss Golden Globe
Rumer performs stage and trophies duty as "Miss Golden Globe" for the 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards. During the ceremony, mom Demi says, "Ru, I'm very proud of you and I love you. And don't hunch. Shoulders back!" And her parents' colleague Alec Baldwin mentions during his acceptance speech for 30 Rock, "I feel so old. I remember when I used to bring Rumer Willis a juice box on the set of the movie."
