Thank you, Canada! Ryan Reynolds, PEOPLE's Sexiest Men Alive in 2010, has garnered international acclaim for his killer body of work.

The blockbuster star of The Green Lantern drank his way onto the Hollywood scene as a hard-partying frat boy du jour in 2002's Van Wilder. Reynolds then sunk his teeth into darker roles, playing a vampire hunter alongside Jessica Biel in Blade: Trinity and a possessed patriarch in The Amityville Horror, before returning to comedy as a lovesick dad in Definitely, Maybe and Sandra Bullock's faux fiancé in The Proposal.

Offscreen, Reynolds – who was once engaged to fellow Canadian Alanis Morissette – married Hollywood bombshell Scarlett Johansson in 2008. But two years after their hush-hush nuptials, the pair decided to end their marriage, and Reynolds moved on with Green Lantern costar Blake Lively, whom he married in 2012. The stars welcomed their first child in late 2014.
