Oh stars alongside Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart in Rabbit Hole, playing fellow bereaved parent Gabby who develops a close bond with Eckhart's character Howie. "She is a path that he could go down," the actress says. "She's also further along in the journey of grief…and I feel like the way that she understands where he is, it was one of the more interesting aspects to the character."
After 10 seasons on the show, Oh announces she is leaving Grey's Anatomy. "It's been a great privilege to play the character of Cristina Yang on GA, and I am both sad and excited to see where this, her final season will take her," she says in a statement. The actress, who won a 2006 Golden Globe for the role and received five consecutive Emmy nominations from 2005 to 2009, called her decision to leave both "emotional and deeply creative." "I really feel like I gave it my all, and I feel ready to let her go," she tells the Hollywood Reporter. Her final episode airs on May 15, 2014.
