The businessman reportedly proposed to the Modern Family star during a trip to Mexico, where the actress and a group of friends celebrated her 40th birthday. Rumors of Vergara's engagement first hit Twitter, when a pal posted a photo of the actress wearing a sparkler on her ring finger.
