  2. Acknowledge victories. Reward yourself with healthy treats for goals that you reach or progress you make.
  3. Try interval training. Extra calorie burn! Get maximum results with minimal input.
  4. Slow down. Most of us eat on the go and too fast, so we miss the first step in the digestive process: chewing.
  5. Make a workout date. You'll have more energy for everything else when you exercise, so make it a priority.

  1. You are what you eat. If you can't pronounce the ingredients of things you buy, do you really want to "be" them?
  2. Work hard, play hard. Choose activities you like to create a workout that feels fun.
  3. Set goals. Stay on track with short and long-term goals, just be realistic.
  4. Mix it up. Do cardio and resistance strength training, then add yoga or Pilates for flexibility.
  5. Create visual reminders. Post an image of yourself as a reminder of your goal.

  2. Invest in a heart rate monitor. You can practice "smart cardio" and get the most out of your sessions.
  3. Reshape your body. Lengthen muscles and tendons, raise the metabolic rate and break down superficial fat with a foam roller.
  4. Step out strong. Feet are the foundation, so get fitted properly for shoes at a store that does gait analysis.
  5. Be on the rebound. Regular use of a rebounder (or personal trampoline) results in a more efficient metabolic rate, toned muscles and weight management.
