A day at the beach can be the end of a perfect pedicure, but you can keep it bright and new despite the wear and tear of the sand and sea. "The best time to get a pedicure is a day or two before you head to the beach," says Neri Ortega, nail expert at Manhattan's Butterfly Studio. "If you do it the same day, the polish will be more likely to chip." Make sure to include those all-important base and top-coats.
