Newly single Eva Longoria saved her cuddle time for her dog this weekend.

"Best bed buddy ever!" Longoria wrote on WhoSay, sharing a picture of a restful moment with her beloved pooch Jinxy.

The actress went makeup-free for the snooze, while her Maltese seemed to be counting sheep and waiting to fall asleep.

On Tuesday, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that Longoria and New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez had "split amicably and remain friends."

Sanchez could have used a hug for different reasons on Sunday: his team lost to the New England Patriots in overtime.
