Buddy's birthday celebration went a little differently than he probably expected but with this week's excuse of "I lack self control," we had to have another temptation on The Biggest Loser.

Clearly in this week's temptation, everyone had a plan – some contestants wanted to have the power and others to maintain self-control. In the end, Daphne ate more than 1,800 calories for the power but then her only switch was Conda and Jeremy. Were you surprised by her moves? What did you think about how everyone in the house handled the changes?

Personally, I agree with Bob about not making things personal but instead focusing on the goal of getting healthy. The switch led both teams to face new emotions and challenges, but in the end some handled those changes better than others.

Contestants are often eliminated on The Biggest Loser because they were not working out enough. Roy "Santa" Pickler says he was had the opposite problem.

Pickler says he was "doing workouts off-camera and when the groups weren't together and often before the [trainer] workouts started in a day," he told reporters on Wednesday. "I think that led to the group suspecting I wasn't giving it my all when in reality I was just tired."

To all of you posting comments to my Biggest Loser blogs, I hope you've been taking out your aggression about Conda by burning calories and using it to fuel your journeys to continued good health.

I know when I'm stressed or frustrated there's nothing better than a good workout to help me clear my head. And this season, I've definitely needed that more than ever.

Now onto this week's episode: Six weeks into the competition, fears of elimination were shining through, contestants were missing their families, dynamics changed and stress on the Ranch intensified. Then, add in that the trainers were gone for the week, and you know it's a recipe for a challenging week.

Oh, do I have a lot to say about this week's episode of The Biggest Loser, and I'm sure you do as well, judging from all your comments last week (and yes, I do read them). It's clear from what you've all been saying that there are lots of different perspectives here and some strong opinions.

Sitting in the weigh-in and feeling the tension between Adrian and the rest of the red team was not easy. Each week, I try to be the facilitator of conversation and to keep everything moving along. I struggle with when to interject and when to let situations play out. Some are very easy – giving Chism his moment when he lost 13 lbs. and led the black team to victory this week. Others, like the elimination room for this season with the red team, are not so easy.

Walking out of the weigh-in, I knew it was likely that Adrian would not be on campus for another week. Mark's conflict with him about his weight loss in his first week was looming, as was the team's inability or unwillingness (depending on which team member) to gel with him.

In the end, Adrian did get eliminated, but I know that he has the determination to prove the red team wrong and to fight for the at-home prize. While his time on campus was limited, the end of the episode, when we saw all he's accomplished, makes me believe he's a real contender.

Tensions were high in the Biggest Loser elimination room Tuesday after a polarizing teammate secured himself immunity, and Nancy Rajala was the one who paid the price for his victory.

"I had always expressed to everybody that if I have to go, it's okay. I'll be fine," Rajala, 63, told reporters Wednesday.

The contestants got emotional as the red team said goodbye to the retired grandmother, but things got heated when new team member Adrian Dortch interrupted the ceremony.

"I know [Adrian's] heart was in the right place," Rajala said of the new, outspoken contestant. "He really hated to see me go but it was the time. I just wanted to have my moment with all of the people that I loved being with and say goodbye to them."

Alison Sweeney: You Can Lose Weight at Home

Biggest Loser: Aqua Team Returns to the Competition | Alison Sweeney

Welcome back, Aqua! On the first day, I gave Adrian and Daphne a challenge to lose 50 lbs. at home in one month and if they succeeded, they'd earn a spot back on the Ranch.

Well, the month passed and they managed to lose the weight. While their success at home was impressive, it was also a reminder that the excuse of not having The Biggest Loser is wrong – everyone can find the tools to lose weight, even at home.

Once they weighed in, their inability to choose which one would train with Bob and which would be with Dolvett was frustrating for all. The black team had a rough time just eliminating Gail and both teams were exhausted from the weigh-in. Daphne and Adrian's return presented them with an unknown and they were not happy about it, or how long they took to figure out their team.

In the end, Daphne joined Bob's black team and Adrian was going to have to prove himself to Dolvett and the red team.

First, a big congrats to Buddy and his wife on the birth of their new baby boy! When Buddy wanted to go home for the birth of his son, of course everyone at The Biggest Loser was supportive of his decision. Buddy realizes the importance of being on campus and balancing that with going home for important events, just like we all do.

Buddy's attitude was an example of being positive this week. That's in contrast to Conda for sure. When watching the episode at home, I cringed at the way she was acting towards Dolvett and applaud him for kicking her out of the gym. While everyone has good days and bad, Conda clearly was disrupting the team and she needed an "attitude adjustment," as my dad would say.

Similarly, Gail continued to give Bob a big challenge because she wasn't working as hard as she could and Bob knew that. That is the incredible thing about working with a trainer, especially one as experienced as Bob – you get pushed to your potential, which is often way farther than you thought possible.

Unlike on other reality shows, Biggest Loser contestants are rarely blindsided in the elimination room – but that was not the case on Tuesday's episode when young athlete Lauren Lee was sent home over a much older teammate.

"After the weigh-in we have an hour or so to [deliberate]," Lee told reporters Wednesday. "But we didn't really come up with who was going home. I was completely shocked when my name started coming up."

The voting came down to a tie between Lee, 26, and retired grandmother Nancy Rajala, 63. And while Rajala lost less weight than Lee at the weigh-in, their teammate Kim Stone cast the deciding vote, sending Lee home.
