TV Watch America's Got Talent
After America's Got Talent contestant Ryan Stock was accidentally shot in the throat with a flaming arrow by performance partner and fiancé AmberLynn Walker, viewers were left stunned and confused.
Talking to PEOPLE about the terrifying mishap, Stock admitted that this particular stunt was designed specifically for AGT.
"We had never done it for an audience before, but we’ve been working on this for the last three months," he said. "We put thousands of dollars into this. We did this 10 times a day, every day for three months. We had no mishaps and then we had a malfunction on stage during the live rounds."
He added, "The first few times it was definitely scary, but we learned to trust the equipment and we learned to trust each other. So neither of us saw this coming."
