TV Watch America's Got Talent
With a little bit of paw grease, any kind of animal can learn a new trick. And America's Got Talent has seen some of the best.
If given the opportunity, who wouldn't want to cuddle with Neil Patrick Harris?
In an exclusive sneak peek at Tuesday's America's Got Talent, one lucky contestant – a self-proclaimed "Professional Cuddler" – gets that very chance when she enlists hesitant guest judge Harris, 42, as a volunteer for her demonstration.
"Don't worry, Neil," joked judge Howie Mandel. "She's certified."
If you wanna be Mel B.'s child, you gotta … have mixed feelings about your mom!
When asked how her kids feel about her gig as a judge on America's Got Talent, the former Spice Girl, 40, quipped that it's "probably what they think of me in general – sometimes I'm really cool, and sometimes I'm really not to them!”
Having a mom that hosts the megahit talent show does have its perks for Phoenix, 16, Angel, 8, and Madison, 3, especially with supermodel Heidi Klum as her co-host.
Howard Stern will not be returning to the judges' table for season 11 of America's Got Talent.
After four seasons on the reality competition series, Stern, 61, announced the news on his radio show Wednesday morning.
It's a bird! It's a plane! It's a contestant on America's Got Talent!
In an exclusive preview of tonight's episode of AGT, 16-year-old Austin-based flyboarding champ Damone Rippy soars through the airs and dives into the water, making a big splash with the judges and crowd in the process.
As Pitbull's "Fireball" plays in the background, onlookers marvel at Rippy's tricks. "That is crazy. That's like Iron Man," comments judge Howard Stern.
"There is nothing you cannot do," Tao Porchon-Lynch's website reads. And the 96-year-old, who recently competed on America's Got Talent, is living proof of that maxim.
Porchon-Lynch is certified by Guinness World Records as the world's oldest yoga teacher – she teaches at various studios around her home in White Plains, New York. Yoga is her first love; she "only" took up competitive dancing when she was 84. (She's had three hip replacements and has broken several bones, including her wrist, not that you could really tell.) A devout vegetarian, Porchon-Lynch strenuously avoids medication and supplements.
Porchon-Lynch was born in India, in the French territory of Pondicherry. She moved to France in her early 20s, where, she told Westchester Magazine, "I helped my aunt hide refugees fleeing the Nazis, and, when things became difficult, I escaped to England and continued my underground work for the Resistance movement."
On America's Got Talent's season premiere Tuesday, comedian Drew Lynch didn't let his stutter keep him from winning over the audience and judges, especially Howie Mandel.
Lynch, 23, started stuttering at age 20 after he was hit in the throat at a company softball game. According to his website, "This life-changing injury sparked a passion for writing and performing stand-up, bringing to life the social hardships of dealing with a newly found speech impediment."
After a set of jokes revolving around his injury, including a particularly successful one imagining what he would be like as the voice of a navigation system, Lynch received a standing ovation from the crowd and Mandel, 59.
"I believe you can turn anything into a positive, that's why I'm here," Lynch said, and the judges clearly admired this optimistic attitude.
Make room for Piers Morgan!
The British TV personality is coming back to America's Got Talent, he announced Tuesday on Twitter.
"BREAKING NEWS: America's Got Talent returns for Season 10 tonight...and I return to the judges' desk later this summer," he wrote.
If you're skeptical of hypnotism, America's Got Talent might just change your mind.
In a preview of the 10th season of AGT, Howie Mandel appears to be cured of his public fear of germs by a professional hypnotist.
